Finally - it took us half a year of searching - we have now found a new unit which we think fits our needs. Nicely quiet with a 17 m² terrace for Mimi. We will have to get it surrounded with protective safety net so that Mimi won't slip away just like we had it on our balcony previously:

The contract is signed, so we may move in there next month. This means a lot of work, of course, but we are looking forward to the new place. We even have an own lake on the premises, so it is very relaxing there with lots of birds singing all the time.

Congratulations, Michael and Christa! Is it far from your work? It sounds wonderful. Having a lake is pretty nice. Is the lake very large? I don't envy the work ahead of you. And I hope your new neighbours are a lot better than the previous difficult one.

The bus drive to my new office will take 12 minutes which is just great. I suppose I will move office and unit at about the same time. The lakes surface is 25.000 m², large enough. I will have to make photos when we are there. There is a bench waiting for me at the beach.
