Ok... I got an admin that suggested I correct the fringing... but I'm a little unfamiliar with that term. Could someone rephrase it?
Also... a couple were rejected on the basis that they were "focal point is innappropriate for the subject matter." There was no nudity, or anything like that... so it wasn't that kind of innappropriate... could someone tell me what that meant? I just want to know so I don't do it again.
Hi Scott,
The fringing referred to will be chromatic fringing - green or purple where a bright area meets a dark area - which is easily corrected.
Without having seen the rejected focal point images I can only say that the focus of a particular image might be incorrect. This is usually the case where images have a shallow depth of field and the main subject is either not not properly focused, the focus being centred, for example, on a shoulder rather than a face.
Hope this helps.
